I'm sitting here listening to my girl Honey Soul's Radio Blog, and there's a song on there from Do or Die featuring Shawnna and Kanye West called "Higher". Now, I've heard this song before and it upset me the first time I heard it. I feel the same feeling of mild disgust now. It contains a sample of Teddy Pendegrass' "Latest, Greatest Inspiration". My husband and I danced to this song when we got married. Now...I'm not upset because it was sampled, or because of the affinity I have for the song, but because it's the most grossly interpretated sample I've ever heard. Someone should stop Kanye before he goes too far!
